Boxcar Social

Boxcar Social is a multi-roaster cafe & bar with an uncompromising dedication to quality. In 2014, we opened our first Boxcar Social location with two programs under the same old Victorian roof: coffee and alcohol, as categorically disparate as night and day. Boxcar Social started with the conviction that the fields of coffee and wine are more similar than we think, and we’ve spent every year since then finding the most interesting and flavourful products in each category.

Boxcar Social serves drip coffee, cold brew and specialty coffees featuring Subtext Coffee Beans, a quality-obsessed specialty coffee micro-roaster using single-origin beans only. They also serve tea from Spirit Tea, which is dedicated to preserving the integrity of tea from cultivation to preparation, infusion, and experience. Oat, almond and soy milk alternatives are available. Accessed from the entrance adjacent to St. Andrews Park, Boxcar Social is open from 8 AM on weekdays and 9 AM on weekends.
